We’ve created a simple table that chronologically lists each each known color and style variation, starting with the listed items from original Fiesta catalogs.

BUILDING THE CATALOG

The catalog is a simple list, where each style is tagged by the colors it is known to exist in. The colors help us determine when in history the styles were made, as only one color, yellow, was used throughout the entire era.

Many styles have variations: little changes to the design over the time it was produced. If there is a known variation in the shape or glaze of a style, it is noted in the catalog along with the possible timeframe it which it could have been manufactured.

As we find more colors of a variation, we might be able to refine its dates of production.

As we find new variants, we can add them to the overall list. As contributors find more colors, perhaps we can refine the dates of the new variant’s production.

(It’s possible that there were parallel production lines and thus variants made side by side, within the same date ranges. But we believe we can get pretty close to a true chronological catalog.)

It’s one big puzzle, and we need to find as many pieces as we can. That’s where you come in.
